About the Website

This website was designed and built April-June 2009 by Benjamin Nitkin. It was inspired by the design of team 1540, The Flaming Chickens. The website is built in Drupal, a popular content management system (CMS). Originally, we used Multiflex-3, but in February 2010, the site was switched to a more colorful theme - Marinelli.

The website is designed with the team in mind. Anyone can browse news updates, the calendar, and galleries. Team members create accounts on the site when they join the team. These accounts allow them to access a directory of team members, send emails to the team, and write content. For visitors, the site has pages detailing FIRST, FRC, the current game, and the team.
